Hi Tristan,

This is a solid post with great practical advice. I was once trapped by analysis paralysis too. But fortunately, I was saved by two great quotes from two great people.

"You don't have to get it right, you just have to get it going!" - Mike Litman

"You don't have to be great to get started, but you have to get started to be great." - Les Brown

These 2 quotes really kicked my ass and get me going. So whenever someone is trapped by analysis paralysis, I'd definitely offer them these 2 pieces of great advice.

Cheers~

Laurie,

The perfect thing is a major one for me too. The ironic things is even writing this article I didn't realise how long I was spending trying to get it right! :')

Glad you enjoyed, cheers.

Smart post with good advice.

You're right to just take action and "do it" today. A big thing for me was moving past perfection. Once I realized my projects were learning experiences in themselves, I lowered the demands I put on myself to do it right the first time. Learning by doing is as important as analysing and at a certain point, it becomes more important.

Thanks for the post. I enjoyed it.
